FTE: 10-month Term
PROGRAM: Home Care
REPORTING TO: Home Care Nurse Manager
SUMMARY OF WORK:
Under the direct supervision of the Nurse Manager, the receptionist provides reception duties for the Home Care and Community Health programs. The receptionist plays a vital role in managing information flow. They are the first contact by individuals entering the facility, they greet and direct. The receptionist is responsible for maintaining order in the reception area while delivering the highest quality services.
PROFESSIONAL & PERSONAL QUALITIES:
- Graduate of an approved program.
- Current CPR, to be re-certified annually.
- Possess excellent computer skills and be familiar with computer programs.
- Be mature, flexible, pleasant and exercise a high degree of initiative and judgement.
- Have communication and interpersonal skills to
- Provide effective interaction between all persons, including coworkers.
- Have effective organizational and time management skills
- Ability to:
- work within a multidisciplinary team environment.
- function independently and effect in a dynamic environment
- Set priorities in the face of multiple demands.
- Understanding of the Blackfoot culture and language.

SALARY RANGE:
- In accordance with the Blood Tribe Department of Health Inc. Salary Grid.
