Reporting to: Human Resource DirectorSummary of Work:
The Recruitment Clerk will be responsible to provide administrative support to the Human Resources team by managing the recruitment and selection process. The Clerk will be responsible to ensure the recruitment and selection process is in alignment with policy, provincial and federal legislation. Job duties include posting job ads, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and maintaining applicant data. Additionally, communicating with candidates, and preparing new hire paperwork to ensure an efficient, organized, and confidential hiring process.
Professional Qualifications:
- Graduate of approved Office Assistant/clerical program (or related program).
- 2+ years administrative experience.
- Strong capabilities in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and other office software.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Highly detail oriented and accurate.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with little supervision.
- Graphic design skills.
Personal Qualities:
- Shall be mature, flexible, and pleasant and exercise a high degree of initiative and judgment.
- Must have necessary communication and interpersonal skills to provide effective interaction between all persons, including co-workers.
- Must act with integrity and treat all information regarding clients, physicians, employees, financial and operational status of the organization as confidential.
- Knowledge of the roles of the multi-disciplinary team members.
- Ability to function independently and effectively.
- Able to provide and receive feedback.
Salary Range:
- Salary Grid as established by BTDH.

Reporting to: Chief Executive OfficerSummary of Work:
This position provides leadership, day-to-day management and oversight of the organization’s clinical operations. Assists the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Board of Directors while working closely with the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) to implement the organization’s health care plan, programs and services. Provide direct oversight of organizational development, to ensure effective services are administered and provided to the members of the Blood Tribe. The Chief Operating Officer will support patient-focused health programs and service delivery, while ensuring program goals, and deliverables are met. They will also assist the Chief Executive Officer with the overall health programming, facility planning, and specific projects.
Personal & Professional Qualifications:
- This role requires skills and experience in Change Leadership, Operational Leadership, Human Resources, Financial Management, Project Management, People Management, Resource Management, and Risk Management in addition to Health Care experience.
- Effective communicator with strong organizational skills, customer-focused orientation.
- Demonstrated ability and comfort with decision-making responsibilities including ability to rapidly process and comprehend large amounts of detailed information.
- Strong project management skills and ability to balance competing priorities, complex situations and tight deadlines.
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills including ability to be articulate, concise, compelling and diplomatic.
- Proven change management, negotiation and mediation skills are essential.
- Post-Secondary Degree in Health Management, Health Leadership, Business Administration, Commerce, or other-related field
- 3-5 years’ work experience in Executive or Senior Leadership
- 3-5 years’ work experience in Health Care Industry
- Health Professional or Clinical experience an asset
- Knowledge of the Blackfoot language and culture.

Finance Clerk

Reporting to: Finance DirectorSummary of Work:
Under the supervision of the Finance Director, the Finance Clerk will be responsible for entering financial information into the accounting system(s); managing Blood Tribe Department of Health Inc. accounts payable & accounts receivable; other responsibilities will include producing monthly financial reports, making weekly bank deposits, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing and vouchering; filing; updating the internal database; providing assistance with annual audit working papers; administrative duties as well as other related duties/tasks as assigned by the Finance Director.
Professional Qualifications:
- Two (2) Year Diploma in Business Administration – Accounting
- Undergrad working towards Bachelor’s Degree in related field
- Minimum of five (5) years’ experience working in related area
- Knowledge and thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Experience working with varying levels of government funding (Federal & Provincial,) reporting, and proposals,and compliance with funding requirements
- Working knowledge and experience using Microsoft Dynamics GP, Microsoft Dynamics Management Reporterfor ERP, Microsoft Office
- Must possess excellent computer skills and be familiar with computer software and programs
- Knowledge of community issues and how BTDH is interrelated within
- Knowledge and understanding/speaking of the Blackfoot language is an asset
- Must possess a valid class 5 driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills
Salary Range:
