DESCRIPTION:Confirming the Focus Group Findings of the Kainai Health Needs Study \nThe Sokkinakia’pi Collaborative research team invites community members to attend upcoming community sessions to review\, validate\, and confirm the findings gathered through the Kainai Health Needs focus group sessions. \nThese sessions will provide an opportunity for community members to: \n\nReview key findings from the focus group sessions\nShare feedback and perspectives\nHelp ensure the results accurately reflect the experiences and priorities of Kainai members\nContribute to future health planning and services for the Nation\n\nWho can contribute? \nWe encourage participants who previously took part in the focus groups to attend to help validate and confirm that the findings accurately reflect the information shared during these sessions. Registered members of Kainai Nation over the age of 18 years old are welcome to attend. \nCommunity Session Schedule \n\nMonday\, May 11\, 2026: Old Agency\nTuesday\, May 12\, 2026: Levern\nWednesday\, May 13\, 2026: Moses Lake\nFriday\, May 15\, 2026: Standoff\nDates TBD: Lethbridge and Calgary\n\n1.5 to 2-hour community validation sessions (meal and childcare provided).
