DESCRIPTION:Everyone who has diabetes should undergo a yearly retinal examination. Diabetes damages the retina (nerve living inside the eye) causing diabetic retinopathy\, now a leading cause of blindness among working-age adults. \nRetinal photography allows early detection of \nsight-threatening \ndiabetic retinopathy.
